How can we understand what is happening around us? How can we make sense of Planet Earth burning in front of our eyes? Can we make sense of something that so many people, so many generations before us couldn’t even consider a possibility? Coming out of an exceptional summer that has seen the usually mild region where I live facing wildfires and temperatures of over 40 degrees, the reality nevertheless feels unreal. We’re in the storm, in the eye of the storm, we see the damage around us but we’re still kind of comfortable . . .
